Amazon Studios orders fourth season of ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’
MUMBAI: Amazon Studios has ordered a fourth season of the Emmy and Golden Globe-Award winning comedy The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. The third season premiered on 6th December on Amazon Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel received two Golden Globe nominations this week, for Best Television Series, Musical or Comedy, and for star Rachel Brosnahan for Best Performance by an Actress in a Series, Musical or Comedy.

In Season Three of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Midge and Susie discover that life on tour with Shy is glamorous but humbling, and they learn a lesson about show business they’ll never forget. Joel struggles to support Midge while pursuing his own dreams, Abe embraces a new mission and Rose learns she has talents of her own.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is the winner of sixteen Emmy Awards including Outstanding Comedy series, three Golden Globes including Best TV Series—Comedy, five Critics’ Choice Awards including Best Comedy Series, two PGA Awards, a WGA Award, and a Peabody Award.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel stars Emmy and Golden Globe winner Rachel Brosnahan, Golden Globe winner and four-time Emmy winner Tony Shalhoub, two-time Emmy winner Alex Borstein, Emmy nominee Marin Hinkle, Michael Zegen, Kevin Pollak, Caroline Aaron and Emmy winner Jane Lynch.
Meanwhile, Amazon Studios has signed a new first-look deal with acclaimed actor Orlando Bloom. As part of the deal, Bloom will work with Amazon Studios to create television and film projects that will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with Jen Salke and the team at Amazon and I look forward to growing that relationship with this new and exciting production deal,” said Bloom.
“Orlando is a fantastic creative talent and collaborative partner for all of us at studios. We’re thrilled to continue working with Orlando not only on Carnival Row, but on the future projects for our Prime Video customers,” said Amazon Studios Head Jennifer Salke.
Bloom can currently be seen starring in the Amazon Original hit series Carnival Row, alongside Cara Delevingne, which premiered in 2019 on Prime Video. Widely known for his roles as “Legolas” in Peter Jackson’s Academy Award-winning Trilogy The Lord of the Rings, and as “Will Turner” in the Pirates of the Caribbean films, Orlando Bloom is one of the most popular working actors in the world.
