Amazon Prime Video partners with premium brands to promote ‘Comicstaan 2’
MUMBAI: Amazon Prime Video has associated with premium brands like ITC Bingo Chips, RAW Pressery, and Belgian Waffles Company to promote the second season of its scripted show ‘Comicstaan’.
For active user participation, ITC Bingo Chips and Amazon Prime Video have collaborated for a nation-wide contest, where the users can send in their pictures relishing ITC Bingo chips while watching Comicstaan Season 2. The winners will get an opportunity to watch live comedy shows in their city for free. The TVC features top comedians and mentors Biswa Kalyan Rath, Kenny Sebastian, Neeti Patla and Kaneez Surkha encouraging people to participate.
Going with the theme of Comicstaan Season 2 which emphasises on ‘Joke Karna Koi Mazak Nahi’ RAW Pressery will feature ‘Juice Banana Koi Mazak Nahi’ in their campaign this season. They also have branded RAW bottles in 3 metros across Mumbai, Bangalore, and Delhi with the same message. The brand will promote the same with a funny TVC featuring Kenny Sebastian and Raunaq Rajani portraying the process of acing the art of making the perfect juice to go along with a perfect joke.
The largest waffle chain in India operating at 200 stores across 55 cities also reaching out to Tier 2 audiences. BWC is launching customized Comicstaan waffle boxes and waffle cones for their sweet treats. To amplify this further, BWC will also launch a bespoke Comicstaan combo on food delivery partner platforms like Swiggy, Zomatoc, Scootsy, and UberEast.
Comicstaan Season Two is an eight-episode series where ten aspiring comedians from across the country are chosen to compete for the winning title and mentored by comedian judges who are experts in their respective genres of comedy.
The series is laugh-out-loud funny with funny jokes, quick-witted dialogues and hilarious memorable moments that are relevant in pop culture today. The first three episodes are available to stream since 12th July, followed by new episodes weekly, only on Amazon Prime Video.
