Zee Music completes one year, unveils 2015–16 slate
MUMBAI: Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd’s (ZEEL) music label Zee Music Company has completed one year in Bollywood, making a mark with films like ‘Holiday’, ‘Mary Kom’, ‘Humshakals’, ‘Bang Bang’, ‘Shaukeens’, along with 40 Hindi and 15 Marathi movies in 2014–15.
Gearing up for its second year, the label has unveiled its slate for 2015–16.
Zee Music Company’s new movie line-up includes those in collaboration with UTV-Disney and Balaji Motion Pictures.
The label will be releasing music for films like Disney’s ‘ABCD2’, UTV’s ‘Fitoor’ and ‘Katti Batti’, and Balaji Motion Picture’s ‘Flying Jatt’, ‘Kya Super Kool Hai Hum 3’ and ‘XXX’.
Among the label’s other new titles are ‘Gabbar is Back’, ‘Piku’, ‘Kuch Kuch Locha Hai’, ‘Bombay Velvet’, ‘Ishqedarriyaan’, ‘Singh Is Bling’, ‘Tina And Lolo’ and ‘Jazbaa’. In addition, 30 new projects will be announced soon.

Zee Music Company has generated over 300 million hits on YouTube. It also collaborated with YouTube for the music promotion of ‘Shaukeen’, which came out to be a success on Facebook and Twitter.
Similarly, songs of ‘Bang Bang’ topped the charts. Users from across the world consumed more than one billion minutes on its YouTube page, claims the label.
