Zee Cafe reclaims top position in Wk 28
MUMBAI: Zee Cafe reclaimed its leading position from Comedy Central with 406,000 impressions in Week 28, a growth of 20.83% over the earlier week.
Comedy Central slipped to the second position with 323,000 weekly impressions, a drop of 4.02%.
Star World moved up to the third place with 202,000 weekly impressions, as Colors Infinity SD dropped to the fourth place with 184,000 weekly impressions.
AXN stayed at the fifth spot with 142,000 weekly impressions, according toBARC data for the week ended 14 July.
Top 5 English movie channels
English movie channel MNX, the new name of Movies Now 2, topped BARC India’s list of top 5 English channels in Week 28.
MNX scored 2.81 million weekly impressions to retain its top position.
Movies Now maintained its second spot with 2.63 million weekly impressions, a growth of 0.72%.
Sony Pix stayed at the third spot, followed by Star Movies and HBO at the fourth and fifth spots respectively.
Top 5 movies
The airing of ‘Fast & Furious 6’ on Sony Pix topped the English movie chart. Two movies, ‘Fast & Furious 4’ and ‘Dr No’, both on MNX, grabbed the second and fourth places respectively.
Movies Now’s ‘Cinderella’ and ‘Batman Begins’ got mentioned at the third and fifth positions, respectively.
Top 5 infotainment channels
History TV18 stayed at the top with 4.23 million weekly impressions, followed by Discovery Channel at the second position with 3.75 million weekly impressions.
NGC and Animal Planet stayed at the third and fourth places with 2.74 million and 2.32 million weekly impressions, respectively. Nat Geo Wild, with 2.14 million weekly impressions, entered the list as Sony BBC Earth went out of the list.
Top 5 kids channels
Sonic Nickelodeon entered the chart at the fourth position with 65.08 million weekly impressions while Cartoon Network exited the list.
Pogo TV dropped to the fifth spot with 61.28 million weekly impressions. The chart otherwise remained unchanged.
