Vikas Gupta quits MTV

MUMBAI: After a stint of less than a year, MTV India programming head Vikas Gupta has decided to move on.

Vikas GuptaGupta, who had joined the Viacom18 youth channel on 3 February this year, is currently serving his notice period and will be with the channel till the end of January.

“Yes I have put in my papers and I will be with the channel till January end,” Gupta, who is currently busy shooting the next season of ‘MTV Roadies’ in Kolkata, told TelevisionPost.com.

Gupta has his own production banner, A Lost Boy Productions, and prior to his MTV stint, he had produced shows like ‘Gumrah: End of Innocence’ for Channel V and ‘Yeh Hai Aashiqui’ for Bindass.

In the past he had also worked with Balaji Telefilms.
