MUMBAI: International music and entertainment channel Vh1 gears up to air ‘Video Music Awards 2015’ and ‘X Factor Season 12’.

The ‘Video Music Awards’ will air on 31 August at 9:00 pm and ‘X Factor Season 12′ will premiere on 1 September, airing every Monday and Tuesday at 9 pm.

Viacom18 English Entertainment EVP and head Ferzad Palia said, “Our previous showcases of international reality shows and live international awards on Vh1 have received an overwhelming response. With the Video Music Awards 2015 and X Factor Season 12, our viewers will once again experience eclectic talents and performances. We are very excited to present these shows to our audiences.”

This year will witness pop Queen Miley Cyrus take the stage at the awards function as the show’s host. With Cyrus as the host, viewers will also see the nominee frontrunners like Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar and Ed Sheeran.

X Factor is a music reality where ‘anyone and everyone can audition’. The show will have aspiring singers brave the panel of judges and the British public to stake their claim for the winner’s title.

The 12th season of the show will see talent show veteran Simon Cowell and popular singer Cheryl Cole take up their judges’ chairs again. New additions will include Olly Murs and Caroline who will bring their chemistry to the show as the first ever duo to host the singing show.
