Turner’s magic box of gifts on Cartoon Network and Pogo this Jan

MUMBAI: Turner International has a delight in store for kids on Cartoon Network and Pogo this January. The network has lined up an array of new shows, movies and lots of contests to keep children entertained and continue its reign in the kids’ genre.

Children will be presented with a mix of humour, adventure and excitement with new and popular characters, also standing a chance to win a host of prizes ranging from merchandise to shopping and more.

Kids can defeat the villains and win prizes on the Republic Day weekend on Cartoon Network. The channel will air special episodes of ‘Roll No. 21’ and ‘Oggy the Cockroaches’ the entire day from 12 noon, on 25 and 26 January. Every half an hour, viewers will get a chance to answer questions and win prizes.

The two shows will continue to air with ‘Roll No. 21’at 1 pm and ‘Oggy and the Cockroaches’ at 5 pm on weekends. The special Cartoon Network Popcorn segment will showcase popular movies for children at 12 noon on weekends.

Gear up for fun with ‘Oggy’s Fun Friday’, where game-based questions will be asked each Friday throughout the month from 1 pm onwards. Kids can stand a chance to win prizes like a day out with friends at the movies, shop till they drop, eat out with friends and get exclusive Cartoon Network merchandise.

Pogo, on the other hand, is bringing a new superhero for children. A new series, ‘The adventures of Obochama Kun’, will air on weekdays (Mon-Fri) at 12 noon. The popular superhero Chhota Bheem also has non-stop entertainment lined up from 15-25 January, with a ‘Chhota Bheem Film Festival’ showcasing back-to-back movies everyday at 5 pm.

The channel will also celebrate Republic Day by premiering the movie ‘Chhota Bheem – Neeli Pahaadi’ at 12 noon on 26 Jan. Kids can again win merchandise by participating in the Republic Day contest from January 20-26 from 10 am onwards.
