Star World Premiere HD to air ‘Better Things’ marathon on Women’s Day

MUMBAI: To celebrate International Women’s Day, English entertainment channel Star World Premiere HD is all set to run a marathon of last year’s critically acclaimed sitcom, ‘Better Things’, on 8 March from 11 am onwards.

Helmed by comedian Louie CK, the series stars Pamela Adlon in the role of a single mother Sam Fox who tries to balance her family life and work. Her journey embodies the lives of women around the world who take up various responsibilities and juggle with the chaos that comes with it daily.

The story follows her journey as she navigates through situations trying to earn a living, raising three daughters all by herself while also having fun with a friend or two and maybe squeezing in some private time once in a while.

The show is modelled after Adlon’s own reality show–ready experience of raising three girls in Los Angeles following a divorce.
