Star Sports selects Sporty Solutionz to produce HIL matches
NEW DELHI: Star Sports, the official broadcast partner of the Coal India Hockey India League (HIL), has appointed Sporty Solutionz as the production partner for the fourth edition of the league. Sporty Solutionz will be in charge of multi-cam production, crew and logistics for HIL 4.
A world feed crew of 150, comprising top-of-the-line camera operators, replay artists, graphic operators and Dolby Sound technicians, will be showcasing this event live to the world.
The production unit will feature super-slow motion replays, goalkeeper matrix, real-time attack-defence analysis, and Libero player tracking in replays to help deliver a world-class viewing experience. The expert and sports commentary team comprises some of the most eminent names in hockey folklore.
The league will be televised live from 18 January on Star Sports 2 & Star Sports HD 2 in English, on Star Sports 3 and Star Sports HD 3 in Hindi, and on Star’s Digital platform Hotstar. All matches will be telecast live every day from 5:50 pm onwards.

Consumer interest in hockey is growing by the day and it is driven by the team’s recent performances in CWG, Asian Games and World League Finals. With this being the Olympic year, we are expecting the Coal India HIL to be one of the most competitive seasons, as all players are looking to use this event as the ultimate preparation before the Olympic Games,” said Star Sports president Nitin Kukreja.

The HIL 4 matches will be played at Bhubaneswar, Ranchi, Lucknow, Delhi, Chandigarh and Mumbai. The league starts at Bhubaneswar and the grand finale will be hosted by Ranchi.
