Star Plus to launch promo of ‘Satyamev Jayate’ on Twitter
MUMBAI: As the new instalment of the social show ‘Satyamev Jayate’ marks its return on Star Plus this month, the channel is all set to debut the promo of the show on Twitter.
‘Satyamev Jayate’ will hit the TV screens on 21 September with actor Aamir Khan as the host. The new airing is actually the second instalment of the second season, the first of which was telecast in March this year. The show will be back with its 11 am time slot on Sunday.
As reported earlier by TelevisionPost.com, this season was to be aired in three instalments. In March, Star Plus aired five episodes, while the remaining eight episodes were to be aired in the middle and end of the year.
However, it seems that there will be only two instalments of the show as the upcoming instalment features six episodes.
Khan, known for his perfectionism, wanted to create more awareness and considering the serious nature of the show, wanted it to span the year.
Besides, given the successful online conversation around the show in the last two seasons, this season the audience will be engaged in many unique ways on Twitter.
The channel is engaging with fans by giving them the power to unlock the release of the promo of the new season of the show exclusively on Twitter.

Star Plus will become the first broadcaster to use the ‘Flock to Unlock’ card that will incentivise followers to drive engagement and awareness about the show and unlock exclusive content on Twitter. Fans are encouraged to Tweet with hashtag #MumkinHai to generate the required number of Tweets needed to unlock the video and be the first to view it.
A tweet from ‘Satyamev Jayate’ mentioned, “The Satyamev Jayate promo releases when the ticker reaches 100! Be the first to see it, #Mumkin Hai.”
Aiming to further empower the audiences, there have also been various exclusive chats on Twitter with experts in various social issues, such as Harish Iyer and Nikhil Dey. While Iyer discussed the issue of child sexual abuse, Dey spoke about the Right to Information.
