Star Gold HD designs two-week property ‘Director’s Cut’

MUMBAI: Star Gold HD has designed a two-week property titled ‘Director’s Cut’. It will showcase hit movies by top directors from 1 to 14 June.

Airing daily at 9 pm, the festival will showcase movies by Karan Johar, Rakesh Omprakash Mehra, Prakash Jha, Imtiaz Ali, Farah Khan, Zoya Akhtar and more.

The festival has curated 14 films from the library of these renowned directors. The two week-long festival will begin with ‘Rajneeti’, directed by Prakash Jha (starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif).

It will be followed by ‘Om Shanti Om’ (directed by Farah Khan), ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ and ‘Rang De Basanti’ (by Rakesh Omprakash Mehra), ‘Highway’ and ‘Rockstar’ (by Imtiaz Ali), Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Luck By Chance’ and ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Doobara’, Karan Johar’s hits like ‘My Name Is Khan’ and ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum’, R Balki’s ‘Cheeni Kum’ and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Guzaarish’.

The fest will culminate with Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Returns’ on 14 June.
