The revamped financial structure, proposed by the ICC, will mean that the BCCI will receive $293 mn as its share of revenue across the eight-year cycle. While ECB will receive $143 mn as its share of ICC revenue, Zimbabwe Cricket will end up with $94 mn.

Even though it kicks off just a few days after the conclusion of the cash-rich IPL, the Champions Trophy cricket tourney is expected to fetch broadcaster Star Sports advertising revenue of Rs 250 cr. Nissan, Airtel, Oppo and Cricbuzz have so far come on board as advertisers.

Sony Max emerged as the most-watched TV channel in Week 15 on the back of the IPL, which has set the ratings table on fire. Sony Max’s weekly impressions shot up 67.47% to 142.94 cr impressions, pushing it ahead of Sun TV, which had 124.74 cr impressions.
