‘Shakti’ sweeps 5 awards at Colors Golden Petal Awards

Shakti…Astitva Ke Ehsaas KiiMUMBAI: Popular Hindi drama revolving around a transgender’s struggle for her identity, ‘Shakti…Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii’, bagged five awards at the 5th Colors Golden Petal Awards.

The awards took place on 12 April at the NSCI Dome in Mumbai and will be aired by the end of April on Hindi GEC Colors.

In line with Colors’ fifth launch anniversary, the awards were themed around ‘Snow Wonderland’. The vent was conceptualised and orchestrated by Cineyug Entertainment.

The evening was hosted by Bollywood personalities Farah Khan and Karan Johar, who were joined by Raghav Juyal, Rubina Dilaik, Bharti Singh and Maniesh Paul. The event honoured outstanding talent across genres. TV stars Mouni Roy, Vijayendra Kumeria, Meera Deosthale, Vivian Dsena, Rubina Dilaik, Sidharth, Rashami Desai, Diljit Dosanjh, Adaa Khan, Karikey Malviye and Salman Yusuf Khan performed at the show.

The awards show was attended by celebrities like Jacqueline Fernandez, Malaika Arora, Diljit Dosanjh, Mouni Roy, Rubina Dilaik, Juhi Parmar, Ssharad Malhotra, Salil Ankola, Sidharth Shukla, Jasmin Bhasin, Mohan Kapur, Adaa Khan, Sudha Chandran, Roshni Sahota, Helly Shah, Jigyasa Singh and others.
