SAB expands reach in MENA with OSN’s Pehla platform
MUMBAI: SAB has signed a carriage deal with UAE’s pay TV network OSN to expand its reach in the Middle East and North African (MENA) region.
SAB will now be available on OSN’s Pehla platform. Popular with families, SAB has achieved over 300 per cent growth in viewership over the last few years, particularly among youth and children, the company said in a statement.
SAB will join Pehla’s growing portfolio of over 30 South Asian channels in Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Tamil and Malayalam.
MSM EVP and head of international business Neeraj Arora said, “We identified a unique offering in the South Asian television sector with SAB TV, which offers round-the-clock and original family comedy content. Our emphasis is to connect with families by providing innovative, light-hearted and clean entertainment. Our partnership with OSN will take SAB TV to a wider audience of not just Indians but people from across South Asia, who live and work in the MENA region.”
OSN has also added GEO News, the Pakistani news channel to its roster.

SAB and GEO News will be available on OSN Pehla Prime and OSN Pehla Variety packages.
