Pogo set to premiere Mighty Raju TV series on 8 Feb

MUMBAI: Mighty Raju, a popular character from kids franchise Chhota Bheem, is all set to be spawned into a television series. The new series will premiere on Pogo on 8 February and will air every Sunday at 10 am and 3:30 pm.

Co-produced by Pogo and Green Gold Animation, Mighty Raju is already a popular movie franchise and is the second most popular local franchise after Chhota Bheem. It boasts of 20 telefilms under its belt.

The series is based on the funny and heroic adventures of a small boy Raju, a.k.a. superhero Mighty Raju, who lives with his parents and his pet dog Moby. Raju’s father, a very famous scientist, created a very powerful compound called Neutrino along with his friend turned villain Karaati. When pregnant, Raju’s mother accidentally drank the potion and inherently Raju was born with super powers.
