MN+ to air Oscar special property ‘The Academy Club’ from 25 Feb

MUMBAI: MN+, the premium HD English movie channel from Times Network, is set to host an Oscar special property, ‘The Academy Club’, on 25-26 February.

The property will offer the viewers a collection of nine of the best Academy award-winning films that defined cinema through its direction, writing, cinematography and performances.

The line-up consists of movies like ‘The Hurt Locker’, ’12 Years a Slave’, ‘Crash’, ‘LOTR: Return of the King’, ‘Chicago’, ‘The English Patient’, ‘The Silence of the Lambs’, ‘Rain Man’ and ‘Gandhi’. Every movie on the list has won not just an Academy Award but also the ‘Best Picture Award’ in the year of its release.

The 89th Academy Awards will air live in India on 27 February on Star Movies, Star Movies HD and Star Movies Select HD at 5:30 am with a repeat at 8:30 pm.
