Fox Life forays into home décor segment with ‘Cousins Undercover’
MUMBAI: Lifestyle channel Fox Life has forayed into the home décor segment with a new show ‘Cousins Undercover’.
Launching on 25 September, the show will air at 10 pm from Friday to Sunday, featuring popular home-renovator duo Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri.
The show will follow the cousin duo renovating outdated, dysfunctional spaces and surprising the neighbourhood.
Fox International Channels business head India Swati Mohan said, “With ‘Cousins Undercover’, we bring forth a new facet of lifestyle – home décor, for our viewers. Resonating with the channel’s philosophy of ‘Go Places’, this is a natural extension to the channel’s already broad lifestyle appeal of music, travel, fashion, food and much more.”
‘Cousins Undercover’, Fox Life’s first home décor show will see the cousins putting in their contracting skills to the test as they lead full-scale home renovations in a weekend’s time. The unsuspecting recipients, who are whisked away on a short trip, are known as the heroes of their neighbourhoods who deserve to be honoured in a big way.
“One of the biggest reasons behind the success of Fox Life is the right mix of global and local content. Entering into the home décor space reiterates our promise to experiment with different show formats and to bring more exciting and quality content that showcases lifestyle in an exhilarating manner. We are delighted to have the famous duo Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri as a part of the Fox Life family and we are confident that the Indian viewers will enjoy the spectacular renovations they surprise the homeowners with,” added Mohan.
From building an in-home wrestling gym for a favourite coach to tearing out walls to accommodate outdoor spaces for those who love to entertain, Carrino and Colaneri deliver surprises, with the help of the homeowners’ families, friends and neighbours.
Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri handle their family business, a construction company named Brunelleschi Construction founded in 2004 by Anthony and his father.
