Colors to ‘reload’ weekends with new ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ from 11 July
MUMBAI: Colors is back with another season of its popular celebrity dance reality show, now rechristened ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded’.
The show will launch on the channel on 11 July and air every weekend (Sat–Sun) at 9 pm.
‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded’ will feature a new combination of judges. Bollywood actor known for his dance moves Shahid Kapoor will join the jury panel replacing Madhuri Dixit. Joining Karan Johar and Shahid Kapoor will be ace choreographer Ganesh Hegde and former contestant Lauren Gottleib.
Colors CEO Raj Nayak said, “This year, ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded’ is going to pump up the degree of oomph and entertainment to make for an engaging watch. A fresh panel of judges including Shahid Kapoor, Ganesh Hegde, Lauren Gottleib and Karan Johar, a wide range of interactive elements, and an all-new level of funk and attitude will create an unparalleled viewing proposition for the viewers.”
The 12 celebrity contestants participating in this season are TV actresses Kavita Kaushik with her choreographer Rajit, Sanaya Irani with Jai, Radhika Madan with Rishikaysh, Dipika Kakar with Vaibhav, TV actors Mohit Malik with Marischa, Vivian Dsena with Bhawna, Faisal Khan with Vaishnavi, rapper Raftaar with Sneha, Bollywood actors Shamita Shetty with Deepak, Ashish Chowdhry with Vrushali, ‘India’s Got Talent’ participant Subhreet Kaur with Diwakar, and Scarlett Wilson with Dhiraj.

Cadbury Bournvita has associated with the show as presenting sponsor for the fourth year in a row. Mobikwik is the powered-by sponsor, while the associate sponsors are Ultratech Cement, Parachute Advanced and Mahindra & Mahindra (Gusto and XUV 500).
The channel has devised a 360-degree integrated marketing campaign that will extend across mediums including print, over six genres of channels, DTH and OOH.
As part of the digital promotion strategy, ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded’ will be promoted across social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
Colors will soon come up with a new season of Anupam Kher’s talk show ‘The Anupam Kher Show: Kuch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai’.
