Colors’ ‘Mission Sapne 2’ launches on 17 Jan

MUMBAI: Colors is back with the second season of ‘Mission Sapne’. Starting 17 January, the show will air every Sunday at 11 am, providing dramatic entertainment with a strong social message.

The show will see entertainers from different industries willingly live the common man’s professional life for a day.

Mission Sapne 2Produced by Sobo Films, ‘Mission Sapne 2’ will feature 10 celebrities, who will strive to learn the professional tricks of the trade to raise funds in support of a deserving commoner.

In the second season, Sonali Bendre will return as the host as she narrates the success stories of the one-day professional endeavours of celebrities and the person they will be supporting. Singer Sonu Nigam has adapted the title track of the show.

The celebrities taking part this season are Vidya Balan as a female porter; Arjun Kapoor as a shoe polisher; Akshay Kumar as a sugarcane juice seller; Alia Bhatt as a superhero masks seller; Sonakshi Sinha as a flower seller; Parineeti Chopra as a book seller; Manish Paul as an auto-rickshaw driver; Sonu Nigam as a puja samgri seller; Sania Mirza as a beautician; and Jimmi Shergill as a mithai seller.

The channel has roped in Idea Cellular as the associate sponsor for the show.

Colors will promote the show across platforms through an integrated marketing approach and digital initiatives.
