CN to premiere brand new series of ‘The Tom and Jerry Show’

MUMBAI: Come 21 April, Cartoon Network will premiere a brand new series of the classic ‘The Tom and Jerry Show’, featuring the world’s most beloved cartoon duo.

The all-new series explores exciting new slapstick storylines and fantastic new worlds, shining a brightly coloured lens on a never-ending battle that has set the benchmark for cartoon rivalries.

Cartoon Network India is scheduled to air all new episodes of ‘The Tom and Jerry Show’ from Monday to Thursday at 2 pm.

The brand new series will feature the legendary cat-and-mouse pair continuing their never-ending chase with a fresh take on the classic. This time, Tom’s determination and Jerry’s cleverness will not be limited to their usual suburban setting.

The episodes will include new worlds as their settings, new situations and storylines set in different eras, be it a witch’s den in the medieval times of magic or a crazy scientist’s laboratory in the modern age. With these interesting settings, the possibilities for chaos in an elementary chase of a cat and mouse are endless.

Turner International India executive director and network head – kids, South Asia, Krishna Desai said, “‘The Tom and Jerry Show’ is a timeless classic loved by children and adults across the world. With their endless rivalry and slapstick gags, Tom and Jerry have created laugh-out-loud memories for all their fans. We are thrilled to have this legendary cat-and-mouse comedy team back with new episodes on Cartoon Network to continue their never-ending chase.”

Cartoon Network is giving one lucky winner a chance to travel to the Parque Warner Madrid amusement park in Spain and meet Tom and Jerry. All kids have to do is participate in the ‘Catch and Win’ contest.
