Bloomberg TV to host 7th Autocar India Awards 2015
MUMBAI: English business news channel Bloomberg TV India and Autocar India, a magazine for the auto industry, will present the 7th edition of the Bloomberg TV India Autocar India Awards 2015 on 9 January.
The 7th edition of the awards, presented by Reliance General Insurance, will be held in Mumbai. The event will host corporate leaders and personalities, who will come together to award achievers from the automotive sector.
Awards will be given across multiple categories in the two and four wheeler segments. It will also include the Viewer’s Choice award in the Car and Bike segment.
Bloomberg TV India COO Lavneesh Gupta said, “The Awards have become the benchmark of performance for the industry and with each passing year the bar has been raised by the players. We proudly salute the achievements of the sector as well as individual players who have strived hard to keep pace with the evolving needs of the fast paced Indian.”

The Bloomberg TV India Autocar India Awards 2015 will be given across categories like Car Of The Year, Bike of The Year, Viewer’s Choice Car of The Year, Viewer’s Choice Bike of The Year, Best Design & Styling, Premium Bike of The Year, Import Bike of The Year, Car Dealer of The Year, Best Value For Money Car, Best Variant of The Year, Car Manufacturer of The Year, Best Driver’s Car, Performance Car of The Year, Compact Sedan of The Year, Sedan of the Year, Luxury Sedan of The Year, Compact Luxury Car of the Year, Hatchback of the Year, SUV of The Year and Engine of The Year.
The jury panel for the awards comprises Sorabjee, Renuka Kirpalani (Autocar India show editor), Shapur Kotwal (Autocar India deputy editor), Narain Karthikeyan (Formula 1 Driver), Kartikeya Singhee (Autocar India show consultant editor), Manvendra Singh (Automotive Historian & Restorer), Rishad Cooper (Autocar India two wheeler editor) and C S Santosh (Motocross Rider).
