Zee Cine Awards to be on dittoTV 48 hours before TV airing

MUMBAI: ZEEL’s over-the-top (OTT) platform dittoTV will stream the 2016 edition of the Zee Cine Awards 48 hours before its television premiere through its beforeTV feature.

While the awards show will air on TV on 5 March, it will be available for dittoTV viewers on 3 and 4 March.

The awards will be simulcast on Zee Cine Awards 2016 on Zee Cinema, Zee Cinema HD, Zee Anmol and Zee Tamizh on 5 March. A special feed of exclusive regional content in Bengali, Telugu and Marathi will air on Zee Bangla, Zee Telugu and Zee Marathi.

dittoTV business head Archana Anand elaborated, “dittoTV was developed with an effort to empower viewers to consume their favourite content anytime they want and anywhere they want. With our beforeTV feature, we have been able to take this to the next level by telecasting content even before it hits the tube. This year, the award function will be hosted by Shahid Kapoor and Karan Johar. The event will be in the presence of celebrities such as Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha, Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, Kriti Sanon, Subhash Ghai, Sonam Kapoor, Shatrughan Sinha, Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande, Rohit Shetty, Vidyut Jamwal, Kajol, Riteish Deshmukh.

Besides the Zee Cine Awards 2016, dittoTV subscribers can also view top-rated shows such as ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ (Zee TV), ‘Dil Dosti Duniyadaari’ (Zee Marathi) and ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai’ (&TV) and more.

The recently launched beforeTV feature allows dittoTV users to watch their favourite content from the Zee Group channels hours before its telecast on television. This feature aligns with the brand’s aspiration to provide entertainment content anywhere, any time.
