Vuclip adds 3 Bollywood films to its video catalogue

MUMBAI: PCCW-backed over-the-top (OTT) service Vuclip has added Kapil Sharma’s ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’, Sunny Leone’s ‘Mastizaade’, Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Calender Girls’ along with Rajat Kapoor’s ‘X- Past is Present’ to its video catalogue.

Viewers can also access ‘Behind-the-scenes’ Bloopers of some of these movies.

Vuclip users can watch the Paoli Dam-starrer ‘Yaara Silly Silly’, which falls under the rom-com genre from this weekend.

Thematic video collections ranging from the 1990 Indi-pop hits titled ‘The Era of Cassettes and Tapes’, to celebrating the monsoon season with rain dance hits titled ‘When It’s Raining Outside’ are set to make viewers groove. David Guetta’s UEFA Euro 2016 anthem ‘This One’s for You’ has been added to the music video catalogue, which is the largest collection of free music videos in India.

Meanwhile, the OTT service will release the Season 1 finale episode of Vuclip Originals’ ‘What the Duck’ this Friday. The show is exclusive to video streaming service Viu and is hosted by cricket humorist Vikram Sathaye. It will feature one of India’s most successful cricketers and current coach of both India A and U-19 cricket teams, Rahul Dravid.

The show will have the cricketer, often referred to as ‘The Wall’, reveal never-before-heard facts about how he and his family had to deal with his major female fan following during his prime, besides other interesting on-field stories, making his adversaries respect him even more.

The first original web series from Vuclip that began in March this year, combining two of India’s most popular genres of cricket and comedy, will have had a successful run of 10 episodes with Indian cricket icons of Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh and now Rahul Dravid featured in the show.
