Scripps Networks Interactive to launch HGTV in Singapore on StarHub

MUMBAI: Scripps Networks Interactive, a producer of lifestyle content about home, food and travel, has announced the launch of US home lifestyle channel HGTV in Singapore.

HGTV will debut on StarHub in December 2014 as the first regional channel dedicated to the growing home and lifestyle category in Asia.

With growing demand for high quality home lifestyle entertainment in Asia, HGTV will premiere with a line up of programmes about design and décor, home improvement, real estate, extreme spaces and more. Programmes such as ‘Property Brothers’, ‘Kitchen Cousins’ and ‘The High Low Project’ will entertain and inspire viewers with fresh ideas and authentic stories on how to find and love their own dream home.

As a continued commitment to cater to local audiences, Scripps Networks will also produce localised original short-form content exclusively for the launch of HGTV in Asia based on the series ‘Extreme Homes’.

It is now the number one upscale network for woman and is also ranked as one of the top 10 cable networks across all categories, with a reach of more than 99 million households.
