JAINHITS launches host of content packages for LCOs

MUMBAI: Headend-in-the-sky (HITS) operator JAINHITS has launched an array of state-specific content packages for local cable operators (LCOs) across India in order to create growth opportunities for them.

The company is inviting new partners by unveiling programmes designed to streamline their operations, improve efficiency and maximise profitability. It thus recently launched its ‘Summer Digitisation Bonanza’ with schemes like ‘Double Happiness Dhamaka’ and ‘Double Freedom Dhamaka’. The schemes are valid for billing till 30 September.

The schemes enable the LCOs to choose content as per their customers’ needs and only pay for what they choose.

‘Double Happiness Dhamaka’ has two different variants—‘Happy 15’ and ‘Happy 17’, the latter allowing LCOs a choice of up to 21 pay channels over and above 140 FTA channels. The schemes are valid till June 2015 (‘Happy 15’) and June 2017 (‘Happy 17’).

In addition, JAINHITS has announced two sub-themes under ‘Double Freedom Dhamaka’, titled ‘Freedom 11’ and ‘Freedom 21’ as well as various channel packages targeting regional viewers.

Targeting cable operators of all sizes, the MPEG4 quality STBs are available under various schemes starting at the price of Rs 1,699. Besides the JAINHITS Summer Digitisation offer, it also provides technical upgradation with 24×7 after sales service, CAF & CRF and marketing & promotion support, all DAS compliant.

JAINHITS aims to provide tools and solutions to its partners to improve cable operators’ business efficiency and maximise revenue at bare minimal investment. These schemes will assist LCOs in reaching out to greater audiences with best-in-class TV viewing solutions.

JAINHITS technology, in partnership with ARRIS (earlier Motorola Home) and IntelSat, also offers a unique proposition to the LCOs. It is a fast plug-and-play digitisation solution that comes for an investment of Rs 499,000.
