Eros and Home Cable to stream Eros’ online entertainment service
MUMBAI: Leading distributor of India films Eros International Plc has forged an alliance with Delhi-based multiple-system operator (MSO) Home Cable Network to stream Eros’ online entertainment service ErosNow.
While other details are still awaited, the streaming service will be available to Home Cable subscribers at monthly subscription prices with a base price for unlimited viewing of movies.
The subscription-based streaming service will enable Home Cable Network’s large customer base to view their favourite content from Eros’ film and music library on multiple devices like smart TVs, PCs, laptops, tablets and mobiles.

As a dedicated online streaming entertainment service, ErosNow showcases premium Bollywood content through an extensive catalogue of current and classic Bollywood films, TV shows and music. The ErosNow platform currently offers users thousands of new and catalogue movies from Eros as well as other major Bollywood studios, a large selection of premium television content syndicated from major TV studios, as well as thousands of music videos and audio tracks.
Eros International Media, the parent company of Eros International Plc, received thumbs up on the bourses. The company, which is listed on both the BSE and the NSE, witnessed a massive spurt in trading activity. On the BSE, the counter scaled a fresh 52-week high towards the fag-end of the session.
Eros recorded a fresh year high of Rs 279.00 per share. The counter settled the day at Rs 271.55 apiece, up 4.2 per cent for the day. Almost 100,000 shares exchanged hands during Tuesday’s session.
Home Cable is an MSO and cable broadband service provider in the Delhi-NCR region.
