MUMBAI: Singapore pay TV service provider StarHub and Disney have launched Disney Movies on Demand for the first time in Singapore on StarHub TV Channel 608 and StarHub TV Anywhere.
A collection of classic tales, epic adventures and iconic characters, Disney Movies on Demand is being pushed as being the destination for entertainment that everyone in the family can enjoy. Available as an add-on channel to StarHub TV subscribers, the channel will also be bundled for 24 months with any HomeHub plan.
Disney Movies on Demand is a subscription video on-demand (SVOD) movies service with multiscreen access via StarHub TV Anywhere. This means that families can take their pick from the channel’s catalogue of 30 Disney signature titles anytime, anywhere. In addition, new titles will be introduced every month, giving viewers a constant stream of fresh content to look forward to. Be it on the TV screen, laptops or tablets, Disney Movies on Demand promises hours of entertainment for the entire family.
Highlights in September include ‘Cars’, ‘Finding Nemo’, ‘The Little Mermaid’, ‘Meet the Robinsons’, ‘The Lion King’ and ‘The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh’. The titles on the channel will be available in standard definition and English. High definition and multi-language (Mandarin, Malay and Tamil) formats will apply where available.
Starhub head of media business unit Lee Soo Hui said, “Disney Movies on Demand will introduce viewers to a world of quality family entertainment and we are delighted that StarHub TV customers will be the very first in the country to have such an amazing catalogue of content at their fingertips. Disney is a trusted name for parents all over the world and we will continue working together to give our customers even more quality content”.
Disney Movies on Demand will be available to StarHub TV customers as an add-on channel for a monthly subscription of $8.56 (w/GST).
