Red FM to host live concert featuring Atif Aslam and Mohit Chauhan

MUMBAI: Private FM radio network Red FM’s live event vertical Red Live will host a concert dubbed ‘Asli Rockstars’ featuring singers Atif Aslam and Mohit Chauhan for the first time on the same stage.

The duo will perform live at Leisure Valley, Gurgaon, on 22 February 2015. Tickets are available on Book My Show.

Red FM COO Nisha Narayanan said, “To be honest, Red FM is not just a radio station. We are in the business of entertainment and music. Red Live is a platform through which we take music to the masses. It has seen tremendous success since its launch in 2012 and we are looking at making it much bigger in 2015. We have got fabulous support from listeners, clients and agencies alike for all our concerts across the country and that has been extremely encouraging.”

While Aslam is a versatile singer adept at a mix of rock, pop and Sufi, Chauhan is an Indian pop and Bollywood singer.

Red FM national marketing head Rajat Uppal said, “2014–15 has been a great year for Red Live with over a dozen concerts across the country. We wanted to end this fiscal with a big bang and real star power. Red Live with Atif and Mohit is all set to deliver that.”

Launched under Red FM in 2012, Red Live has organised concerts with Yo Yo Honey Singh, Mika Singh, Kapil Sharma and more.
