Christened by his loyal audience as ‘PRINCE’, Mahesh Babu’s popularity has been sky rocketed in recent times. CI Shankar (Mahesh Babu), who is also known as ‘Encounter Shankar’, is posted in a small town which is a troubled area because of a don Damodar (Sonu Sood), threatening people to cooperate in his illegal business. Even the police have no say in the matter and are helpless, and that’s when Shankar arrives. He starts putting an end to Damodar’s business and in the process, Shankar finds out that Damodar had attacked his family, and begins to plan his revenge.
