‘Taare Zameen Par’ this Children’s Day@ 8PM!

Mumbai: On the occasion of Children’s Day, Zee Cinema, the World’s Largest Movie Theatre for Hindi movies, takes its viewers into the whimsical world of Ishaan Awasthi with the heartwarming Taare Zameen Par on Saturday, 14th November at 8 PM. The film is not only entertaining but also enriches our minds with the thought that ‘It is not necessary to be the best at everything to be successful. Just find something that makes you happy!’ The film was Aamir Khan’s directional debut and received numerous awards including a National Award. The film was also India’s official entry to the Oscars and was a huge commercial success.

Taare Zameen Par explores the life of an eight-year-old dyslexic child, Ishaan (enacted by Darsheel Safary). Although he excels in art, his parents send him to a boarding school due to his weak performance in academics. Despite being friends with Rajan (Tanay Chheda), physically disabled and one of the top students in his class, Ishaan sinks into a state of fear and depression. At this point, a new art teacher, Ram Shankar Nikumbh (Aamir Khan), joins the school’s faculty and things start taking a positive turn.

How does the art teacher recognize that Ishaan needs assistance? How do we recognize that every child is special? The poignantly narrated story in Taare Zameen Par sensitizes audiences to many issues that need attention in today’s times!

This Children’s Day, Zee Cinema also announces the Har Din Diwali Contest in which participants stand a chance to win a gift voucher worth of Rs. 5000/- all the audience have to do is watch the film and answer few questions asked on Zee Cinema social media platform during the telecast of it.
