Radio City Super Singer VI unveils its winners
Radio City 91.1 FM’s flagship property, ‘Radio City Super Singer’, one of the most sought after signing talent hunt across India, concluded its sixth edition on 12th October, 2014. The talent hunt, presented by GandourTourist waffer bar unveiled winners at the finale that took place across 15 cities. The winners were awarded a prize of upto Rs. 1 Lakh and an opportunity to work with eminent music directors of the country.
Radio City Super Singer VI kick-started auditions on 20th September, 2014. The show’s key highlight this year was the upswing in the number of registrations and auditions in each city. With over 1.25 lac registrations, this talent hunt created a rage in each market. Extensive on-ground and mall activations played a significant role in the spike in registrations. The maximum participation was witnessed by Mumbai and Ahmedabad, followed by Chennai and Bangalore.
The finale saw five finalists from each city compete with one another vying for the title of Radio City Super Singer. The finalists were then judged by music veterans and singers of the Indian music industry like Sukhwinder Singh, Kavita Seth, Ash King, Amitraj – the composer of national award winning song “Deva TujyaGabharyala” and Aakriti Kakkar among others.
The winners, Saurabh Kaushal, Manisha Singh, Jaideep, Chetan and Vinayak among others were announced at the finale that took place on 11th and 12th October at premier malls of Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Bangalore and Hyderabad respectively.

With the theme of Jinke liye gaana first! , this year’s Radio City Super Singer was an extension of the brand’s ‘City First Aap First’ initiative that aims to increase the personal connect with the listeners.
