Punjabi film ‘Virsa’ fame Mehreen Raheel will play the leading lady in Mastana Mahi

Mumbai: Pakistani actor and model Mehreen Raheel is all set to make a comeback on Zindagi with upcoming show Mastana Mahi after making an impactful appearance in 2010 Punjabi movie, Virsa. The India – Pakistan collaboration movie saw Mehreen in a key role sharing screen space with veteran Indian actor Gulshan Grover. Raheel will be seen in the role of a young confused girl in this vastly popular Pakistani show. Her character gradually transforms into a woman with a sense of maturity and understanding.

Launching on November 06, 2014, Mastana Mahi will feature the stunning actress who has not only been appreciated for her acting skills in Virsa but also won accolades for her stunning performance in one of Zindagi’s marquee shows – Zindagi Gulzar Hai.

The charming Mehreen will portray the role of Aleen in Mastana Mahi, sharing screen space with Pakistani superstar Fahad Mustafa and talented actor Sajal Ali (previously seen in Behadd – the telefilm). The show delves into the journey of a man’s life as he struggles to make tough choices between his family responsibilities and his love life. Mehreen’s character Aleen will be seen dwindling in her love life, her character is a significant catalyst to the actions of Adil (Fahad Mustafa) who is immensely in love with her.

Set to premiere on Zindagi, Mastana Mahi is a story about battling the temptation of pursuing love on one hand, while coming back home to one’s roots to take up the mantle of family commitments.
