New collection of remarkable interviews on Video and book on the legendary R D Burman !

Mumbai: Brahmanand S Siingh, the director who moved us with his earlier film Pancham Unmixed, and won a national award for that, returns with a new movie and never-seen-before videos on the legendary music director. A coffee table book – Diamonds and Rust – on R D Burman along with a priceless collection of video interviews on Pancham is launched.

A documentary on a music director’s life would ordinarily make a boring film. Not many except for his die-hard fans would watch it. And it would largely be an exercise for posterity rather than anything else. However, R D Burman was different. When he was alive and even after he passed away. Little wonder that the priceless collection of interviews on him and his life – Pancham Unmixed – won the National Award. Not just that, the demand from the viewers for more so overwhelming that filmmaker Brahmanand S Siingh and Mobius Films have decided to release a ‘sequel’ to Pancham Unmixed titled “Knowing Pancham”

The movie and the book have bee nlaunched to commemorate Pancham’s birth anniversary on June 27.
