Fox Traveller, ITC Maurya host chef David Rocco
MUMBAI: Sumptuous Italian delicacies, exclusive wines were in abundance when lifestyle channel Fox Traveller hosted Italian celebrity chef David Rocco at an event at ITC Maurya in Delhi.
The evening was attended by socialites like Mona Waliah, Shivani Wazir Pasrich, television celebrity and Roadies judge Rajiv Laxman, Shubhodip Pal, Chief Marketing Officer, Micromax amongst others. The evening also saw the presence of Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia.
Rocco also wooed the audience with a quick mouth-watering live cook-out, wherein he created an authentic pasta dish with ITC Maurya senior executive chef Manisha Bhasin.
Talking at the FOX Traveller Dolce India Fiesta, Rocco said, “I am really excited to be in India, where people are as passionate about food as they are back home in Italy. FOX Traveller gave me the perfect opportunity to explore my two passions food & travel with the show ‘David Rocco Dolce India’. I love the Indian culture and food, and had a lot of fun working on the show”.
Echoing the excitement Chef Manisha Bhasin, who has worked with David Rocco earlier as well as part of ITC Maurya’s Celebrity Chef Series said, “This partnership was an opportunity to create more versatile cuisine experiences for the Delhi gourmands who look forward to new food formats. A clear similarity in both styles is the emphasis on fresh ingredients and local produce.
