The 20th edition of the ZEE Cine Awards witnessed many memorable moments. Alia Bhatt receiving the award for Best Actress from glam diva Kareena Kapoor, who she introduced as the “most talented actress”, was certainly one of them. The new mother herself performed for the first time on stage since giving birth, and received thundering applause from the enamoured audience. The 90’s favourite on-screen jodi, Govinda and Raveena added the nostalgia factor into the event with a medley from the previous decade. Yesteryear actress Sridevi unveiled the first look of her 300th film, “Mom” on the ZEE Cine Stage. The evergreen Amitabh Bachchan re-established his commanding presence in Bollywood as he accepted the Best Actor Award for his role in the critically-acclaimed film, ‘Pink’. The Awards were hosted by Manish Paul, well known for his playful wit and often referred to by his fans as the ‘Sultan of Stage’.
