MUMBAI: As people celebrate Diwali, Anuradha SenGupta speaks to popular mythologist and bestselling author Devdutt Pattanaik in this week’s episode of Off Centre. Pattanaik who has written three books based on the Ramayan talks about the saga in depth and the reasons why it holds so many people in thrall across ages and countries. Reacting on the central government’s announcement on spending Rs.250 crores to develop a Ram museum in Ayodhya, he says that for him, Ram is God and his place should always be in a temple, not in a museum.
