YRF Ent to debut on US TV by turning comic book into mini-series

MUMBAI: YRF Entertainment is all set to debut on US television by turning the 2008 comic book miniseries ‘The Nye Incidents’ into a TV series.

Created by Whitley Strieber and written by Craig Spector, the comic book series is set in the world of alien abductions and centres on a medical examiner hunting down the serial killer who is committing crimes in the alien abductee community.

YRF Entertainment CEO Uday Chopra, along with president of production Jonathan Reiman, will produce the episodic drama.

YRF Entertainment has earlier co-produced Hollywood films like Nicole Kidman-starrer ‘Grace of Monaco’.

YRF Entertainment is a Los Angeles-based production and financing company focused on developing and producing feature films for the United States and international marketplace. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Yash Raj Films Pvt Ltd.
