Sports consultancy firm raises funding from Amtrak Tech CMD Sandeep Arya
MUMBAI: Sports consultancy firm Time of Sports has raised an undisclosed amount from Sandeep Arya, chairman and MD of $32-million conglomerate of companies Amtrak Technologies, Presto Infosolutions and Sanvei Overseas.
The fund raised will be invested in expanding the existing sports consultancy leg of the company to create an ecosystem of sports and fabricate India’s largest grassroots initiatives.
The company also plans to develop a unique sports mobile app which will further converge online and on-ground sports and fitness activities. The app will help the brand reach out to around 100 million school kids and their parents which will also enhance the presence of the brand exponentially. Lastly, a portion of the funds would be utilised to launch the world’s largest STEM-based technology challenge—F1 in Schools in India.
