Smita Thackeray’s Magic Cloud acquires intl rights to three T-Series films

MUMBAI: Smita Thackeray-promoted Magic Cloud Media & Entertainment (MCME) has acquired the international rights to three films under the T-Series banner, namely ‘Baby’, ‘Roy’ and ‘All is Well’.

Directed by Neeraj Pandey, ‘Baby’ stars Akshay Kumar, Rana Daggubati, Anupam Kher, Danny Denzongpa, Taapsee Pannu, Mikaal Zulfiqar and Madhurima Tuli. The film released on 23 January 2015.

Directed by Vikramjit Singh, ‘Roy’ stars Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez, and is set to release on 13 February 2015.

Starring Abhishek Bachchan, Asin, Rishi Kapoor and Supriya Pathak, ‘All is Well’ is directed by Umesh Shukla and is set to release 3 July 2015.

MCME managing director Smita Thackeray said, “We are excited and glad to partner with T Series on the international rights. Bhushan Kumar’s peerless knowledge of music and cinema was the main reason for the deal.”

T-Series CMD Bhushan Kumar says, “Smita Thackeray has supported us in our previous films too. I am glad to be working with her for the overseas distribution for our forthcoming releases ‘Baby’, ‘Roy’ and ‘All is Well’. They have helped us reach out to the international market in major countries.”
