PlanetRadiocity launches two international web stations

MUMBAI: Radio City’s web radio portal PlanetRadiocity has expanded its international music offering by launching two more web stations—Radio City Dance and Radio City Classics.

Radio City Dance will cater to the growing dance music genre electronic dance music (EDM) with tracks from artists like David Guetta, Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, and Deadmau5, while Radio City Classic will showcase the best of international music from the ‘80s and ‘90s.

Radio City Dance is the first online radio station in the country featuring international EDM. The station will feature electronic music sets created through percussive electronic music genres. A host of genre-bending styles like house, trance, dubstep, drum & bass and mashup will be presented on the channel.

On the other hand, Classics will cater to the audience who grew up listening to the international tracks from the ‘80s and ‘90s by artists like Michael Jackson, Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, Richard Marx, Bryan Adams, Phil Collins, Bon Jovi, Micheal learns to Rock, Shaggy, Shania Twain, Enigma, Aerosmith, Mariah Carrey, George Michael and Scorpions.

Radio City Classics and Radio City Dance are the newest addition to the portal after Radio City International, Radio City Love, Radio City Malayalam, Radio City Tamil, Radio City Smaran, Radio City Freedom, Radio City Indipop, Radio City Hindi and Radio City Fun Ka Antenna.
