Fox’s ‘The Boss Baby’ nears $200 mn at global box office

MUMBAI: Fox’s ‘The Boss Baby’ is nearing the 200-million mark at the global box office.
comScore has announced the official worldwide weekend box office estimates for the weekend of 9 April, as compiled by the company’s theatrical measurement services.
comScore senior media analyst Paul Dergarabedian commented, “Fox’s PG-rated ‘The Boss Baby’ tops the global box office earning $63.8 million in 47 territories and brings the animated hit to nearly $200 million worldwide.  Notably, Disney’s ‘Beauty And The Beast’ adds another $61.1 million in its fourth weekend to push its global total close to $1 billion.”
Media reports indicate that Paramount’s ‘Ghost in the Shell’ could lose $60 million.
