‘Finding Dory’ crosses $180 mn in opening weekend

MUMBAI: The Disney juggernaut at the box office this year shows no sings of slowing down. Its latest film ‘Finding Dory’, made through Pixar, has reaped box office revenue of 186.2 million globally in the opening weekend.

This is the third highest opening for an animated movie. In the US, ‘Finding Dory’ made $136.2 million, a box office record opening for an animated movie.

Meanwhile, Fox’s ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ has crossed $500 million globally. Though the number is decent, reports suggest that Fox might change tactics for the ‘X-Men’ franchise going forward.
