eBay launches music video celebrating Budhia Singh’s undying passion

MUMBAI: eBay India has joined forces with Viacom18 Motion Pictures produced ‘Budhia Singh – Born To Run’. The association celebrates the spirit of passion through the music video, which is also the title track of the movie that calls out audiences to “Be the Biranchi to a Budhia.”

The title track of the video tells the story of eBay fueling kids’ passion for running the way Budhia Singh’s coach Biranchi did for him.

The song is sung by the new sensation on the block Siddharth Mahadevan and directed by Hitesh Sonik. It signifies the core theme of the movie of a little child’s unrelenting dream to fulfill his passion for running. The music video will be promoted across all online platforms of Viacom18 channels – Colors TV, MTV, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon.

As part of this campaign, eBay India has also created a microsite where consumers can buy shoes at 50 per cent discount. The offer will see eBay India gifting a pair of shoe to an underprivileged kid of Magic Bus for every purchase made on the website.

‘Budhia Singh – Born To Run’, a Viacom18 Motion Pictures, is a biographical sports film that stars Manoj Bajpayee as the coach to young wonder kid Budhia Singh. The movie has already won accolades and has even bagged the prestigious National Film Award for Best Children’s Film in 2016. This heart-warming and inspirational tale tells us the story of Budhia who comes from a challenged background and finds support from his coach Biranchi. The young boy Budhia fights against all odds to run 48 Marathons including a 65 km from Puri to Bhubaneshwar, all by the age of 5.
