Click Asia Summit 2016 to take place in Apr

MUMBAI: Click Asia Summit 2016 is set to be held from 21 to 22 April 2016 at The Taj Land’s End, Mumbai.

The summit will be hosting speakers and brands to drive conversations around ‘digital transformation’ to address issues and challenges.

Much more than a one-off event, the initiative is intended to break the barrier among the old-economy companies and brands. It seeks to educate and equip these companies to be a part of the digital universe where new-age companies are already disrupting the way business is conducted globally.

The two-day summit is focused on sharing the best global practices on digital transformation. An experiential event on digital marketing for both enterprises and brands, it will feature open forums for discussions and workshops, to help brands benefit from the curated content.

The panel of experts will be addressing the good, the bad and the ugly in digital marketing and transformation. Learning by practice, from the experience of others, evaluating data points and in-depth analysis of innovative product information, along with details of how to tackle legacy marketing issues, are some of the points that Click Asia Summit and its online platform plan to address. The online platform includes both website and a mobile app, allowing attendees to continue to engage with the experts through m-learning.

Robert Scoble, an American blogger, technical evangelist and author will be one of the keynote speakers. Apart from being the chief futurist at Rackspace, he is also the co-author of ‘Naked Conversations: How Blogs are Changing the Way Businesses Talk with Customers’.

Scoble said, “This is my first visit to India and am really excited to be a part of the sessions. The India marketplace is fast changing, thereby throwing open a huge opportunity.”

With more than 50+ speakers on digital transformation, Click Asia is an event for brands looking at developing their digital roadmap for the next five years.

Some of the other speakers include Twitter brand strategy, advocacy lead Steven Kalifowitz, Ryan Bonnici from HubSpot, Huge senior interaction designer Brandon Schmittling, Taboola VP Asia Pacific Ran Buck, and Ogilvy & Mather president Lucy McCabe.
