China’s ‘Wolf Warrior 2’ tops global box office

MUMBAI: A Chinese movie, ‘Wolf Warrior 2’, has topped the global box office over the weekend making $125.7 million.

Meanwhile, Christopher Nolan’s critically acclaimed war movie ‘Dunkirk’ has crossed the 200 million mark at the global box office. ‘Despicable Me 3’ has crossed the $800 million mark globally. ‘Wonder Woman’’e is nearing the $800 million mark.

comScore has announced the official worldwide weekend box office estimates for the weekend of 30 July, as compiled by the company’s theatrical measurement services.

comScore senior media analyst Paul Dergarabedian commented, “A China-based title tops the global box office as the action-packed ‘Wolf Warrior 2’ takes charge with a massive haul of $125.7 million this weekend in just 5 territories for a global total to date of $142.2 millionwhile Christopher Nolan’s acclaimed ‘Dunkirk’ crosses the $200 million mark worldwide.”
