Blue Ant International to showcase lifestyle, reality and documentary content at Mipcom

MUMBAI: Blue Ant International has announced eight new titles in the lifestyle, reality and documentary categories, including ‘Backroad Bounty’, ‘Paranormal Survivor’, ‘Wild Ride’ and ‘Cabin Truckers’, coming to this month’s television trade event Mipcom in Cannes, France.

Continuing to deliver content across unscripted genres, Blue Ant International recently announced close to 50 hours of nature and wildlife content, expanding its catalog of award-winning series and formats for worldwide distribution.

Factual entertainment highlights

‘Backyard Bounty’ sees hosts Marty and Bam Bam visit garage sales, private collections and old barns bursting with picker’s gold in search of valuable hidden gems. There’s no limit to the oddities they’ll find—from old-style furniture and vintage signs to time-aged tools and antique equipment. While many pieces are rich in personal stories, owners aren’t always aware of the value behind a stashed-away collectible.

‘Paranormal Survivor’, meanwhile, will take viewers through terrifying real-life encounters with the supernatural. Hear from those who’ve faced these feared spirits—and watch dramatic recreations that lure people back to the scenes of these harrowing confrontations.

‘Cabin Truckers’ follows the exploits of hauling colossal cabins to remote, picturesque locations. Viewers can watch as an expert team navigates through extremely rocky, mountainous terrain, delivering precious cargo to thrilled homeowners.

In ‘Wild Ride’, 15 fearless backpackers commit to a 13-day, 3,000 km trip to attend the full moon Party on the island of Ko Pha Ngan. The catch? They have to travel by Thailand’s infamous tuk-tuk, a three-wheeled auto-rickshaw with a max speed of 60km/hour. Along the way, the group must deal with everything from getting arrested to being ripped off to nearly flipping a tuk-tuk—but it all makes for an unforgettable journey, and one ‘Wild Ride’.

The one hour documentary, ‘Cosmetics Coming Clean’, examines the changing face of makeup. After an influx of scientific research and consumer protest, the cosmetics industry is undergoing a major shift.
