Big Magic to come up with season 2 of ‘Raavi’ and ‘Naadaniyaa’

MUMBAI: Comedy general entertainment channel Big Magic has unveiled the second season of its popular shows ‘Raavi’ and ‘Naadaniyaa’ with new storylines and characters.

‘Raavi’ will launch on 28 July while ‘Naadaniyaa’ will premiere on 4 August on the channel.

As reported by TelevisionPost.com earlier, the second leg of the shows will see the introduction of a magical angle in ‘Raavi’ and a six-year leap in ‘Naadaniyaa’.

Big Magic creative director Uditanshu Meta said, “At Big Magic, it is our primary objective to provide our viewers with content that not only is high on humour but also forges a connection with them. Keeping that in mind, both the shows have emerged as steady favourites and are much loved by the viewers. And now, with new storylines, a magical intervention in the case of ‘Raavi’ and an exciting six year leap in ‘Nadaniyaan’, the channel is offering a lot more to its audience in terms of innovative content and interesting programming. Hence with the arrival of the new seasons, we are certain that the shows will hold on to the attention and past loyalty of the viewers and pave the way for future seasons.”

Based on the story of a witty girl who grows up disguised as a boy in a Punjabi household, outwitting everyone and challenging society norms, ‘Raavi’ will be returning with a new twist as she is now accompanied by a magical mobile gadget that helps her through sticky situations. It will touch upon fantastical themes and how the ‘Magic Mobile’, which is a magical contraption that possesses powers, helps Raavi.

On the other hand, ‘Nadaniyaan’, the tale of three innocent simpletons, will be bringing in a fresh perspective with a six-year leap. The leap will take viewers further into the life of the three Nadans, Nandu, Chandu and Pappu, and their relationship with each other. Adding some drama into this is the arrival of Tinku – Nandu and Pappu’s mother, who is the tyrant of the family.

The new leg of the shows will be promoted through Reliance Broadcast Network Limited’s marketing arm. It is supported by a multi-media campaign across television, radio, print, digital, out of home and on ground.
