Aaj Tak brings back third edition of ‘Agenda Aaj Tak’
MUMBAI: Hindi news channel Aaj Tak has unveiled the third edition of its thought leadership annual event ‘Agenda Aaj Tak’ with the theme ‘Kitna Badal Gaya Hindustan’.
The theme is reflective of the changing times in the national landscape. The two-day conclave, scheduled on 12 and 13 December, will see powerful voices debating on issues domination the Indian mindscape.
Leaders across various fields will set the mood for the sessions, which include Amit Shah, Arun Jaitley, Manohar Parikkar and Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu.
The kingmakers of coalition politics Sharad Yadav and Laloo Prasad Yadav will participate in the session ‘Modi Ke Khilaf Morchabandi’.
Meanwhile, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan will pay a tribute to his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan.
‘Dilli Ke Dil Main Kya Hai’ will be debated in the race to the Delhi Elections by former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, BJP Delhi president Satish Upadhyay and DPCC chief Arvinder Singh Lovely.
Maharasthra CM Devendra Fadnavis, Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat and Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar will lay emphasis on the importance of Centre – State relationship in the session ‘Tera Mera Saath Rahe’.
Sports, music and entertainment are also part of the agenda, with cricketers Wasim Akram, Shoaib Akhtar, Sourav Ganguly, Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir debating on the chances of Team India lifting the World Cup again.
Musicians Sukhwinder Singh, Vishal Dadlani, Shekhar Ravjiani will add some melody to the sessions by reflecting on the rapidly changing music industry and more.
Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn will also be seen sharing his views and experience while Shraddha Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha will talk about the young spirit and on being role models for the youth.
First time MPs, BJP’s Manoj Tiwari and Babul Supriyo, and LJP’s Chirag Paswan, will talk about the responsibilities of their new role.
The conclave will also see religious and spiritual leaders Asaduddin Owaisi, Swami Ramdev, Yoga Guru and Swami Chinmayananda Saraswati share their opinions on the lines of religion and spirituality.
Through the two days, comedian Raju Srivastav will help in sprinkling humour in between the sessions to balance the heated debates with some laughter.
