Lowe Lintas named Most Effective Indian Agency at APAC Effies
MUMBAI: After bagging the Agency of the Year awards at the Indian Effies earlier in January, Lowe Lintas & Partners has now been named as the Most Effective Indian Agency at the APAC Effies held in Singapore yesterday.
The agency bagged four medals including two gold, a sliver and a bronze out of total six medals for India.
The two gold medals won by Lowe Lintas and Partners are under Goodworks – Brand category for Unilever’s Lifebuoy – ‘Help a child reach 5’ campaign and Media Innovations category for HUL’s Kissan ‘100% Natural Seeded’. The agency bagged a silver and bronze medal for Idea Cellular’s ‘Honey Bunny’ campaign under the categories ‘IT/Teleco’ and ‘Media Innovations’ respectively.
Lowe Lintas & Partners CEO Joseph George said, “Coming back to the win at the Indian Effies as the Agency of the Year, this win yet again reinforces our belief in the type of work we do and the criteria of evaluation we value.”
Other agencies from India that bagged medals include McCann Worldgroup New Delhi which picked up a silver for Coca-Cola India’s ‘How Coca-Cola won the battle for Indian teens’ campaign under the non-alcohol beverages category.
Grey Worldwide India also picked up a silver for Kewal Kiran Clothing’s ‘Killer Jeans’ campaign under the Goodworks – Brand category.
Colenso BBDO/Proximity New Zealand was awarded with the title of Agency of the Year followed closely by Lowe Lintas & Partners Mumbai at second spot.

The 2014 awards were held at the awards gala held at Conrad Centennial Singapore on 3 April.
Presenting a total of 56 awards – 12 Golds, 26 Silvers and 18 Bronzes among finalists from 16 countries, APAC Effies recognised the most effective marketing campaigns in the region.
BBDO Worldwide was named the Agency Network of the Year, picking up a total of two golds, seven silvers and six bronzes from its agencies in the region.
APAC Effies Awards is organised by Confederation of Asian Advertising Agency Associations (CAAAA) and Tenasia Group. The Gold, Silver, Bronze winners and finalists will be included in the Effies Effectiveness Index, a global ranking which identifies and ranks the most effective companies and brands by analysing finalist and winner data from worldwide Effies competitions.
