Leo Burnett appoints Prajato Guha Thakurta, Sachin Kamble as associate ECDs

MUMBAI: Close on the heels of Rajdeepak Das joining the Leo Burnett Group as chief creative officer, Leo Burnett India has announced the appointments of Prajato Guha Thakurta and Sachin Kamble as associate executive creative directors. Based out of Mumbai, the two will work closely with Das.

Leo Burnett Group CEO Saurabh Varma said, “Leo Burnett continues to be a magnet for incredible creative talent. We want to build the momentum with the hire of Prajato and Sachin. They have an excellent track record and have proven their mettle by creating some outstanding integrated campaigns. We look forward to having them join a super charged Leo Burnett.”

Prior to Leo Burnett, Thakurta has worked with JWT, McCann Erickson and DDB Mudra on brands like Pears, Parachute Advanced, Stayfree, Tata Indicom, Barclays, Radio Mirchi, Neo Sports, Band-Aid, The Economic Times, Lavasa, Electrolux, Rin, Smirnoff and Nokia, to name only a few.

Kamble has worked with agencies like Ambience, Rediffusion DY&R, Ogilvy & Mather, DDB Mudra and JWT on brands like Colgate, Zee TV, Exide, Taj Group of Hotels, Vodafone, Nestle, Ponds, Kotex, Genteel, Savsol, ITC Vivel, Lavasa, Kalpataru, Rin, Smirnoff and Nokia.

Thakurta added, “Times are changing and getting even more demanding and dynamic by the day.
